LOS ANGELES – Art Is Shit Editions proudly announces BRIGHT WHITE, an exhibition of new works by Ryan McIntosh and XVALA.

One year since Steve Jobs' death, two post-pc artists question Apple to 'Think Different'.  In light of the recent Foxconn riot at Apple's China manufacturer, known for their inhumane labor practices and growing number of suicides, how does a corporation, resurrected from the dead, survive after the passing of this man?

"One year has given us time to collect our thoughts and ideas about how to artistically examine these issues with a critical eye." said Ryan McIntosh.

"Either waiting in line or in an assembly line, Apple is to die for," said XVALA.
"Unfortunately, Apple thinks it's all the same."

AIS Editions will be releasing two limited edition works, "Wishing All Things Old Were New" by Ryan McIntosh  and "Think Different" by XVALA, a cast porcelain-plastic sculpture of the Apple-banned Steve Jobs action figure. These new works will be made available first-come-first-serve at the opening of the BRIGHT WHITE exhibition.

BRIGHT WHITE opens on October 13th, 2012 from 8-11pm at Art Is Shit Editions, located in The Brewery Arts Complex, 642 Moulton Ave, Los Angeles CA 90031.
